Bridge Records will soon be releasing the second disc from their Arlene Sierra portrait series, entitled "Game of Attrition - Arlene Sierra, Vol. 2". The U.S. release date will be January 6th, followed by U.K. and international release of the disc on February 3rd.
Recorded in 2013 by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, with Huw Watkins, piano, and Jac Van Steen, conductor, the disc features four orchestral works dating from 2001 to 2012, including Sierra's recent Seattle Symphony and New York Philharmonic commissions. More about the new release here.
