Arlene Sierra's Seattle Symphony commission "Moler" will be performed at BBC Hoddinott Hall, Cardiff, on November 23rd, 2012.
In a concert celebrating the renaissance of compositional talent in Wales, Arlene Sierra (Senior Lecturer in Composition, Cardiff University School of Music) will have a European premiere. The BBC National Orchestra of Wales will perform "Moler" alongside other new and recent compositions by composers connected to Cardiff and Wales. This performance also previews Sierra's upcoming recording sessions with the orchestra in January 2013 for the forthcoming disc Arlene Sierra, Vol. 2.
